Plants & Goodwin, Inc. stands as a leader in the field of plugging and abandonment operations within the Appalachian Basin. We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Wireline Rigger.

Position Details:
  • Compensation: $35.00 per hour with a potential increase of $1.00 after 90 days

  • Responsibilities: Operating the wireline vehicle to transport equipment to job sites
  • Setting up mechanical apparatus or cabling systems as directed by the Wireline Engineer
  • Conducting routine maintenance on equipment and keeping detailed service records
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is mandatory; on-the-job training with a senior wireline operator is advantageous
  • Possession of a Class A or B Commercial Driver's License with HAZMAT endorsement is essential
  • No felony convictions are permitted
  • A clean driving record is required
  • Ability to pass an ATF background check is necessary
  • Willingness to undergo a DOT fingerprint test is expected
  • Familiarity with DOT regulations and compliance is crucial
  • Understanding of company policies, HSE standards, and PSL guidelines is important
  • Strong communication skills, coordination, and mechanical aptitude are needed
  • Capability to perform basic maintenance on specialized downhole instruments and tools
  • Ability to conduct preliminary equipment function checks prior to job execution
  • Adherence to journey management processes to mitigate transportation-related risks is required
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English to follow and provide instructions
  • Basic mathematical skills for job-related calculations are necessary
  • Computer literacy in Windows-based operating systems is expected
