About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician to join our team at Ascension Health. As a key member of our multidisciplinary Maternal-Fetal Medicine practice, you will be responsible for evaluating and managing high-risk pregnancy patients, providing inpatient and outpatient care, and collaborating with our team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients with high-risk pregnancies, utilizing your expertise in maternal-fetal medicine to provide comprehensive care.
  • Collaborate with our team of healthcare professionals, including obstetricians, neonatologists, and other specialists, to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in academic programs, such as medical education and research, to advance the field of maternal-fetal medicine and improve patient care.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each patient.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and research in maternal-fetal medicine, applying this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Board certification in Maternal-Fetal Medicine or a related field.
  • Completion of a fellowship program in Maternal-Fetal Medicine or a related field.
  • Current licensure to practice medicine in the state of Illinois.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex medical data and make informed decisions.
