Join Search Inc. as a Clinical Counselor

Position Summary: As a Clinical Counselor at Search Inc., you will facilitate both group and individual counseling sessions for participants in our programs. This role reports directly to the Division Director of Clinical Services and is designed to maintain a balanced workload without overtime. Clinical supervision may be offered to qualified candidates.
We are looking for a full-time Clinical Counselor for our Clinical Services Program, with a work schedule of Sunday through Thursday from 12 PM to 8 PM.
Compensation: $55,000-$65,000 per year
Key Responsibilities:
Engagement with Clients:
- Exhibit compassion, adaptability, and reliability in addressing individual and program needs.
- Assist clients in achieving their treatment plan objectives.
- Support clients in developing skills for enhanced independence.
- Contribute to the creation of behavioral strategies and monitoring.
- Provide counseling, mediation, and problem-solving assistance.
Administrative Duties:
- Uphold the Mission Statement and core values of the agency.
- Demonstrate leadership by promoting teamwork and valuing diverse perspectives.
- Represent Search Inc. professionally to all stakeholders.
- Advocate for the rights and services of individuals.
- Ensure that therapeutic services outlined in personal plans are effectively delivered.
- Train staff on the implementation and documentation of therapy objectives.
- Maintain accurate records within the Harmony system.
- Comply with personnel policies and Corporate Compliance standards.
- Document client progress on a daily basis.
- Complete incident reports as necessary.
- Ensure timely submission of billing documentation.
- Meet NPI number requirements.
- Perform assigned responsibilities as required.
Maintenance of Environment:
- Ensure cleanliness and organization in accordance with Search standards.
- Utilize appropriate cleaning supplies.
- Show respect for program materials and resources.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Must possess one of the following Illinois licenses: LCPC, LCSW, LCP, LPC, LSW, LMFT.
- Basic proficiency in computer skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
- At least one year of experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
