About the Position:

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a qualified Mental Health Therapist III or Licensed to join our team in Mount Vernon, WA.

The successful candidate will provide mental health assessments in the Skagit County region, increasing access to behavioral health services. This role will also involve providing direct services at our medical clinic in Concrete, WA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct diagnostic assessments for patients and document outcomes, justifying diagnoses and communicating with primary care providers and other involved individuals.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including crisis plans and authorization paperwork.
  • Provide individual counseling and consultation to Sea Mar staff regarding health and behavioral issues.
  • Collaborate with psychiatric services to ensure accurate presentation and address identified needs.
  • Monitor the effects of medications and provide feedback to psychiatrists.

Requirements:

  • Mental Health Therapist III: Master's degree in psychology, counseling, or social work with coursework in psychological diagnostics, and four or more years of experience in the field.
  • Licensed Mental Health Therapist: Master's degree in psychology, counseling, or social work with coursework in psychological diagnostics, and four or more years of clinical experience in the field.
  • Active Washington State Agency Affiliated Counselor License or mental health Associate License (includes Marriage and Family Therapist, Mental Health Counselor, and Clinical Social Worker).
