Key Responsibilities

+ Collaborate with the care team to provide an outstanding client experience.

+ Build relationships with clients to understand their needs and preferences.

+ Conduct thorough physical examinations and perform diagnostic, medical, surgical, and dental procedures, ensuring the highest quality of care while minimizing stress for the patient.

+ Inform clients about preventive healthcare, including vaccinations and suitable nutritional options.

+ Maintain accurate medical and surgical records for clients and patients, ensuring all logs are updated according to established protocols; assist colleagues with follow-up and ongoing patient management.

Qualifications

+ A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (DVM, VMD) or equivalent is mandatory.

+ An active state license in good standing, along with a DEA license and any other required state credentials.

+ PLIT Insurance is necessary.

+ A minimum of 2 years of experience in general medicine and surgery.

+ Strong multitasking abilities, coupled with a high level of integrity and accountability.

+ Excellent listening and problem-solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication abilities.

+ Comfortable working collaboratively with other veterinary professionals in a team-oriented setting.

+ A genuine passion for assisting both people and pets, demonstrating empathy and a strong customer service focus.

+ Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with PIMS software.

+ A sincere commitment to providing care that aligns with the values and mission of the team.

Physical Requirements

+ Ability to stand or walk for up to 80% of the shift.

+ Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.

+ Occasionally lift up to 70 pounds with assistance from a team lift.

+ Rarely lift more than 70 pounds with team support.

+ Capable of standing, pushing, pulling, carrying, squatting, and kneeling as needed.
