Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the organization's overall goals and objectives.

Provide financial leadership and guidance to the executive team to inform decision-making and drive business growth.

Oversee long-term budgetary planning, forecasting, and financial performance to ensure alignment with the organization's strategic plan.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Lead the annual budgeting process, ensuring accurate and timely submissions that meet organizational needs.

Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions to minimize variances.

Develop long-term financial projections and cash flow forecasts to inform business decisions.

Financial Reporting and Compliance:

Ensure the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports that meet regulatory requirements and stakeholder needs.

Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, including tax filings and audits, to maintain organizational integrity.

Coordinate audits and provide necessary information to auditors to ensure a smooth process.

Prepare and present financial reports to the board of directors and key stakeholders to inform decision-making.

Risk Management:

Identify and manage financial risks, including cash flow risks, foreign exchange risks, and interest rate risks, to minimize their impact on the organization.

Develop and implement policies and procedures to minimize risk and ensure the organization maintains strong internal controls and financial systems.

Cost Management and Optimization:

Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies within the organization to drive business growth.

Analyze the financial viability of new projects, products, or services to inform business decisions.

Implement financial systems and controls to optimize resource allocation and drive business success.

Team Leadership and Development:

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team to drive business success.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement in financial operations to drive business growth.

Set clear performance objectives and provide regular feedback to team members to drive success.

Capital Management:

Manage relationships with banks and other financial institutions to secure funding and drive business growth.

Oversee capital allocation to ensure effective use of resources and drive business success.

Lead efforts in raising funds or securing financing as needed to drive business growth.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master's degree preferred).

CPA, CFA, or other relevant certifications are a plus.

5-10+ years of progressive financial experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial management, and risk management.

Experience with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
