Job Summary

Mercy is seeking a skilled Primary Care Nurse to join our team. As a Primary Care Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for visits with providers by completing advanced standard room processes, including entering chief complaints, taking vital signs, reviewing patient history and allergies, and completing medication reconciliations.
  • Assist with in-office testing, including drawing blood, completing mental status exams, EKGs, walking oxygen studies, and point-of-care testing.
  • Administer vaccines and other injections within the scope of practice.
  • Schedule follow-up appointments as needed per office policy.
  • Collaborate with providers and clinical care teams to monitor and coordinate the delivery of care plans.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Practical Nursing
  • Active LPN licensure
  • 6 months of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office
