Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute annual price negotiations with suppliers to achieve budget savings targets
  • Ensure the best price on the global supply market for all products commodity
  • Lead the global implementation of the commodity strategy, including action plans in each region
  • Work closely with Supplier Quality to monitor and correct supplier PPM problems
  • Initiate and/or support VAVE for cost reductions initiatives
  • Manage supplier relationships, from new supplier introduction to supplier phase out, and ensure data transparency
  • Bring a positive attitude, high energy, and strong desire to win
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Commodity Buyer
  • 2-3 years of experience within a Global Commodity for the Automotive Industry
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong negotiating skills
