Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time, on-site/hybrid Litigation Attorney based in Oxnard, California. This role involves representing clients in civil litigation matters, engaging in legal proceedings, drafting essential legal documents, conducting thorough legal research, overseeing discovery processes, preparing for trials, and maintaining comprehensive case files. The ideal candidate will possess strong litigation and case management capabilities and be a collaborative team member.

Required Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law institution
  • Valid license to practice law in California
  • At least 3 years of experience in civil litigation
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to handle multiple cases and meet deadlines effectively
  • Specialized knowledge in tort liability litigation, particularly in defending health and human service providers and public entities is preferred.
  • Proficient in legal research and case management software
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Strong attention to detail, legal analysis, and writing skills
  • Understanding of legal ethics and professional responsibility standards
