Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide fast, friendly, and accurate check out services for customers, ensuring a clean and friendly shopping environment.
  • Point of Sale Operations: Accurately transact customer items for checkout on POS units and all acceptable methods of payment, balancing cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in stocking, rotating merchandise, and marking labels to maintain a well-organized store.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
  • Adaptability: Be flexible and willing to work weekends, holidays, and store's busiest days, as well as perform other duties as required and/or assigned.
Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Listen to the needs of the customer and communicate clearly, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Technical Skills: Attain mastery knowledge of P.O.S. functions and basic math skills to accurately process transactions.
  • Physical Demands: Stand and walk on a hard or concrete surface, bend, reach, climb, kneel, squat, reach overhead and side to side, and lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred, with relevant Cashier experience a plus.
