Description

Konami Gaming is seeking a Senior Software Engineer IV, Unity Game Developer to contribute to key game product development.

This position is responsible for researching, designing, and developing innovative software in support of the strategic development roadmap for the Games Division.

The Senior Software Engineer IV will work on a team project with engineers, designers, and artists to create new game content, add new functionality to existing platforms, and investigate issues reported from the field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
  • Formulate and design software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.
  • Develop and direct software system testing procedures, programming, and documentation.
  • Establish current and long-range objectives, plans, policies, timelines, and game design and completion schedules of product releases.
  • Analyze new technologies and lead in technical vision of new projects or product lines.
  • Report to management any discrepancies or problems requiring resolution.
  • Consult with hardware engineers and other engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, and operational and performance requirements of overall system.
  • Collaborate with teams of engineers, designers, artists, and others as necessary to ensure quality and market criteria meet product plan and customer requirements.
  • Able to build consensus and serve as a mentor for new or lower-level software engineers on the team.
  • Promote change in process and product by proactively implementing solutions with cooperation and buy-in from the team.
  • Establish current and long-range objectives, plans, policies, timelines, and game design and completion schedules of product releases.
  • Integrate and test software for releases.
  • Provide documentation to support releases.
  • Comply with the company's regulatory guidelines and corporate policies at all times.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding the company, products, and employee information.
