Job Summary:

As a Speech Language Pathologist at Adventist Health, you will provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services to patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. You will work as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team, adhering to state and federal regulatory license, certification, and accrediting requirement guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based interventions to address communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and patient outcomes.
  • Supervise and mentor support staff, as outlined in national and state Practice Acts.
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices through ongoing education and professional development.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice.
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
