Housekeeping Department Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team at LBA Hospitality. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our guest rooms and public areas, while providing exceptional guest service and ensuring compliance with our brand standards.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in coordinating the activities of the housekeeping team, including daily shift meetings and monthly department meetings.
- Inspect all areas of the hotel to ensure sanitation, brand standards, and health and safety requirements are met.
- Maintain the necessary supplies and equipment to effectively operate the housekeeping and laundry departments.
- Assist with monthly inventories, proper ordering, receiving, and maintaining supplies.
- Ensure all equipment is in proper working order, including vacuums, laundry equipment, and carts.
- Key control is required for guests and associates, with keys to be accounted for and secured at all times.
- Provide training and development opportunities for housekeeping staff, including new hire orientation, ongoing training, and brand and vendor training.
- Assist with scheduling and working within the designated labor model.
- Maintain a crisp, clean, and professional appearance daily, adhering to grooming and uniform standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in housekeeping or related field, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Ability to stand for long periods, walk, and maintain a friendly professional image.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including holidays and weekends as necessary.
- Basic computer skills and experience with Quore and Hotel Effectiveness systems preferred.
