Your Role: Clinical Dietitian

">

As a Clinical Dietitian at Southern Regional Medical Center, you will ensure optimal patient recovery by conducting in-depth assessments considering medical history, dietary needs, and preferences. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop personalized nutritional plans, oversee their implementation, and monitor progress. You will also educate patients and families on healthy eating and navigate restrictions.

This role includes evaluating supplement needs and recommending options, along with contributing to the hospital formulary. To stay effective, you will maintain accurate records and keep current on advancements in nutrition science.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) license.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting providing patient nutritional care.
  • A strong understanding of medical nutrition therapy (MNT).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
  • The ability to educate and motivate patients and families on healthy eating habits.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

The estimated salary for this role is $62,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
