Minimum Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Previous experience in retail sales is a plus.

• Capability to work under the conditions outlined below.

• Ability to perform essential duties and physical tasks as described below.

• Proficiency in using the equipment, tools, and materials specified below.

• Punctuality and ability to adhere to scheduled shifts.

• Competence in communicating (both verbally and in writing) in English.

• Ability to carry out basic arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver prompt and courteous customer service.

• Accurately process all sales transactions on the cash register, handling various payment methods.

• Operate multiple functions of the fuel console, lottery machine, money order machine, and telecom transactions.

• Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store, including basic upkeep of all equipment.

• Inspect store facilities and equipment for safety, cleanliness, and functionality.

• Contact maintenance for repairs as necessary.

• Assist in ordering and purchasing merchandise.

• Receive and verify deliveries from vendors.

• Manage merchandise, cash shortages, and other operational expenses.

• Help maintain appropriate inventory levels and conduct shift audits.

• Assist new applicants with the application process.

• Perform all duties with minimal supervision.

• Attend job-related meetings, which may require flexible hours.

• Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the Store Manager.

Working Environment

• Majority of work performed indoors, with occasional outdoor tasks such as cleaning parking lots and gas pumps.

• Exposure to cold temperatures while working in coolers or freezers.

• Occasional exposure to noise.

• Work with limited direction and periodic supervision.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours.

• Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead for up to 30 minutes.

• Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level.

• Ability to push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds.

• Ability to bend at the waist with some twisting for up to one hour.

• Ability to grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands throughout the workday.
