Job Title: Pediatric Physical Therapist - Schoolage

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our team at Family of Kidz. As a Pediatric Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for children on your caseload. You will also administer and write up physical therapy evaluations, maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs, and provide input and attend/teleconference initial CPSE/CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong passion for working with children and their families, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with various professionals. You will also need to be a self-starter and independent problem solver, with excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail. A graduate degree in Physical Therapy and a current New York State Physical Therapy License are also required.

Responsibilities:

* Design and implement creative individual and/or group therapeutic interventions for all children on your caseload.
* Administer and write up physical therapy evaluations.
* Ongoing communication with lead supervisors & coordinators, specifically related to case management.
* Maintain professionalism with families, school teams, and other professionals.
* Maintain accurate and timely attendance and billing logs.
* Create and maintain a schedule with assigned individual families/school personnel.
* Collect data on each IFSP/IEP goal and reports on progress quarterly.
* Provide input and attend/teleconference initial CPSE/CSE meetings and/or annual reviews.
