Job Summary

As a Respiratory Care Practitioner at SSM Health, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Respiratory Therapy team. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate professional to join our team and help us deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients for appropriate respiratory care services and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Administer prescribed respiratory therapies, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and ventilator management.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams.
  • Educate patients and families about respiratory health, disease management, and treatment options.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
  • Current certification as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
