Art/Music Therapist Position Summary

The Art/Music Therapist provides therapeutic therapy to adults, adolescents, and/or child patients dependent upon setting. As a member of an interdisciplinary team, the Art/Music Therapist works towards the emotional health and well-being of the population served.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Screen patients and provide functional assessments
  • Develop goals and modalities for patient treatment plans
  • Provide direct services for individuals and groups of patients for an assigned caseload
  • Coordinate overall treatment plan and complete medical record documentation
  • Communicate with patients based on an understanding of the developmental needs of the population
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in a field related or complementary to Art and/or Music Therapy
  • Certification/licensure required
  • Two years of post-graduate experience preferred, or behavioral health experience obtained during schooling
Benefits:
