As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our customers. You will work closely with our pharmacists to ensure accurate and efficient dispensing of medications, while also providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications
- Operate pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and manage inventory
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
- Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of pharmaceuticals
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and technologies
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 6 months of experience in a retail environment preferred
- PTCB certification preferred
- Good math skills and ability to accurately count, measure, and weigh medications
- Good computer skills and ability to operate pharmacy systems
