Quality Improvement Specialist

Job Summary
This position performs quality assurance activities for services provided to persons with developmental disabilities, including visits to residential group homes, individual residences, and day service locations. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of developmental disabilities resources and services, as well as the ability to maintain effective working relationships and communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site visits to ensure health, safety, and quality of life for service recipients
- Monitor trends in incident management reports to prevent future occurrences
- Conduct screenings to select individuals for waiver service opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology, human services, special education, or other education degree
- Three years' experience providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities
- Ability to operate personal computer and general office equipment as necessary to complete essential functions
Preferred Qualifications
- Education and experience with Applied Behavior Analysis
