We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Sales and Estimating Specialist to join our team. This role involves maintaining a solid focus on lumber sales, promoting company products to builders and their customers, and generating sales opportunities through research of client needs and industry competition.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational, communication, and attention to detail skills, with experience working within a fast-paced sales environment. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with sales staff, contractors, and homeowners to provide accurate estimates of materials required for projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Frequent communication with customers and internal teams to understand project requirements and specifications
  • Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, sales data, and project details
  • Providing exceptional customer service and resolving any issues promptly
  • Collaborating with sales and operations teams to develop and implement sales strategies
  • Analyzing market trends and competitor activity to inform sales decisions
  • Utilizing estimating software and performing blueprint takeoffs as required
