Employment Type:
Part-time

Responsibilities:


The Music Therapy Specialist will participate in essential team discussions at the Lexington VA Medical Center, as required by the IHP Co-Directors.

The Specialist will deliver therapeutic services to Veterans engaged in the IHP, unless otherwise directed by the IHP Co-Directors or relevant LVAHCS personnel.

The Specialist is expected to foster a nurturing environment conducive to healing and recovery for Veterans.

The Music Therapy Specialist should exhibit a comprehensive understanding of VHA standards and protocols, ensuring compliance with the guidelines established by the IHP.


Requirements:
The Music Therapy Specialist must possess a master's degree in music.
The candidate must be a Licensed Music Therapist.
Instructors should have a minimum of three years of professional experience.

Operational Hours:
Programming will be conducted Monday through Friday, during designated hours.
