We are seeking a highly skilled Social Worker to join our team at the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. As a Social Worker, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive, culturally sensitive social work services to patients at our facility.
Key Responsibilities- Provide short-term counseling and crisis intervention to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to assess patient needs and develop treatment plans.
- Coordinate with community health resources to ensure patients receive necessary support and services.
- Conduct patient assessments and develop plans to promote patient well-being and independence.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on health-related issues.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree in Social Work from a Council on Social Work Education-accredited program.
- At least 3 years of experience in social work, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Current, unrestricted U.S. State license as a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Certified Independent Social Worker (CISW).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
This is a full-time position that requires working in a healthcare setting. You will be expected to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.
