Premise Health is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Atlanta, GA.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality patient care in an ambulatory setting. The successful candidate will have a strong background in primary care and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct health assessments, make differential diagnoses, and prescribe treatments as needed.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Perform physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' clinical problems and healthcare needs.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plans as necessary.
  • Prescribe or recommend medications or other forms of treatment as needed.
  • Refers patients to physicians for consultation or to specialized healthcare resources for treatment.
  • Maintains accurate and detailed medical records using electronic medical record software.
  • Educates and coaches nursing staff on best practices.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Science of Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree.
  • Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in good standing.
  • At least three years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice, or emergency department setting.
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations preferred.
  • Strong computer skills with knowledge of Internet software, spreadsheet software, and word processing software.
  • Training skills a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience with electronic medical records preferred.
