Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist to join our team at Memorial Health University Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and diagnostic imaging services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue.
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning them to capture optimal images requested by the physician.
  • Accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and prepare and operate the CT scan equipment.
  • Assist the radiologist in administering medication and contrast agents, performing biopsies, and providing care to patients.
  • Prepare examination rooms for CT scans and/or invasive procedures, and maintain room cleanliness and inventory of supplies.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Computerized Tomography Technician certification within 1 year of employment start date.
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification.
  • Certificate in a related field.
