Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced educator to lead our preschool program, providing a nurturing and safe learning environment for children aged birth to 5 years. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create engaging lesson plans.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement weekly lessons and daily routines to promote social, cognitive, physical, and language skills in children
  • Monitor and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and objectives
  • Provide a safe and supportive learning environment, ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of children
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and instructional strategies
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure a smooth transition between home and school
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  • OR Associate's degree in any field with 12 semester hours in Early Childhood coursework
  • OR 60 semester hours towards a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience working with young children
  • DCDEE Criminal Background Check
  • TB Skin Test
  • Medical Report signed by a physician
