Job Title: Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) - Business Analyst

Job Type: Contract (6+ Months)

Our client, a dynamic and forward-thinking government agency, is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join their team and help lead the customization and upgrade efforts for their Oracle EBS ERP solution.

Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Gathering and Documentation: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements to define current and future state.
  • Planning and Coordination: Collaborate in developing a project plan outlining tasks, timelines, milestones, and dependencies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including technology teams and Business Units, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Validation Testing: Plan and execute validation testing to ensure that requirements are met and the system functions correctly.
  • Gap Analysis: Conduct gap analysis to compare current state vs. future state and identify areas needing improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure seamless and functionality of the software.
  • Defining Scope and Milestones: Define project scope and milestones, ensuring alignment with the overall goals of the government entity.
  • Testing and Action Development: Coordinate and participate in testing activities, and develop action plans to address any issues.
  • Progress Tracking and Reporting: Track progress and provide regular status reports.
  • Alignment: Ensure that project objectives align with the overall goals of the government entity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree: In Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in enterprise and/or public sector projects.
  • Skills: Extensive experience in gathering and documenting business requirements, strong skills in validation testing and conducting gap analysis, and experience with Oracle ERP Projects and/or other Tier 1 ERP solutions.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and strong soft skills, ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, and proficiency in project management tools for documentation, tracking, and reporting.
