Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Tracking and Logistics Expert to join our team at Develon. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the inventory of components, machines, and attachments based on production plans.

About the Role

The Asset Tracking and Logistics Expert will work closely with engineers to request components required for production from HQ or suppliers. This involves periodically checking the inventory of components and attachments, identifying discrepancies, and correcting differences between system and real stock.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage material transit time with logistics vendors
  • Manage inventory for long aging/surplus/scrap
  • Conduct cycle count and back-ship
  • Improve inbound transportation cost
  • Request CKD components to HQ or PDC etc.
  • Update stock of components and attachments (Major: daily, minor: monthly or quarter)
  • Conduct prevention of component and attachment shortage
  • Conduct compensation with vendor during transportation
  • Update MRP (Material Requirement Planning)
  • Create/Update safety stock and minimum order volume

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1-5 years of manufacturing experience, packaging, or supply chain and/or operations
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and/or distribution processes
  • Basic knowledge of heavy equipment
  • Experience in SAP, transactions related to control cycles and material information, tracking, and movement
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience using Excel, Access, Word, and Power Point
