We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Health Unit Coordinator to join our Inpatient Behavioral Health team at Northwestern Memorial Healthcare. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate and timely information to patients and families
  • Manage unit workflow and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient and effective care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including ordering supplies and printing forms
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in software applications
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
  • One year of experience in a clinical setting preferred
