At LifeBridge Health, we are seeking a skilled Emergency Care Technician to join our team in the Emergency Department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and technical support to our patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical, multi-skilled direct and indirect patient care activities under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
- Assist with patient assessments, vital sign monitoring, and documentation of patient information.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by licensed nurses.
- Participate in emergency response situations, such as code blues and trauma activations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Successful completion of Certified or Geriatric Nursing Assistant course within six months of employment.
- Less than 2 years of experience in patient care or emergency medical services preferred.
- CPR certification required.
- One year of experience as a Patient Care Technician or Emergency Medical Technician.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
