LifeBridge Health is seeking a skilled Emergency Care Specialist to join our team. As a member of our Emergency Services department, you will provide technical, multi-skilled direct and indirect patient care activities under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Your core competencies will include IV Starts, Venipuncture, Splinting, Bladder Male/Female Catheterization, and EKG course completion within six months of employment.
- Preferred High School Diploma
- Successful completion of the following competencies within six months of employment
- Less than 2 years
- CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant
- CPR - AHA Healthcare Provider
Initiative, motivation, and strong communication skills are required. Strong Customer Service Skills and strong organizational and prioritization abilities are also essential. Carroll Hospital Center is a minimal-lift facility, and any moving or lifting of patients must be done with appropriate equipment and/or techniques taught through the Safe Lift program.
