Unlock your potential: Job Summary and Qualifications. Our Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging Department provides a broad range of services to aid in the screening, diagnosis, and treatment of medical conditions and emergent injuries.

A few responsibilities of our Radiology Imaging Specialist include:
You will operate x-ray equipment to create radiographs of designated portions of the body.

Under the supervision of a Radiologist, your role will involve performing x-ray therapy on patients, explaining procedures to them, and addressing their concerns.

Your role will serve patients in our emergency department, patients in our hospital, and outpatient patients in need of services as well.

You will perform procedures in accordance with established protocols for patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics.

Your role will be responsible for maintaining expert technical and patient-care skills while providing quality diagnostic results.

What qualifications you will need:
Completion of an AMA approved Radiology Technology training program with current certification by ARRT. Must maintain current registry by attending continuing education activities to uphold knowledge and skill level. BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required.
Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.

Preferably, 2 years of recent acute care experience.

Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R) Vocational School Graduate. This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state, and/or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
