Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Swedish Medical Center. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate x-ray equipment to produce high-quality radiographs of designated body parts.
  • Perform x-ray therapy on patients under the supervision of a Radiologist.
  • Explain procedures to patients and address their concerns in a professional and compassionate manner.
  • Provide quality diagnostic results and maintain expert technical and patient-care skills.
Requirements
  • Completion of an AMA-approved Radiology Technology training program with current certification by ARRT.
  • Maintain current registry by attending continuing education activities to maintain knowledge and skill level.
  • BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years of recent acute care experience.
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R)
  • Vocational School Graduate
