Job Title: Automotive Claims Support Specialist

Join Safe-Guard Products International LLC, a leading provider of protection products and solutions for the automotive finance and insurance industry, as an Automotive Claims Support Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support to agents, clients, and customers by adjudicating claims, providing claims status, and resolving or escalating customer issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle claims-related calls per work schedule, performing within defined metrics.
  • Order inspections when claims exceed a certain amount or possible fraud is suspected.
  • Follow proper claims procedures as outlined in training and feedback provided by QA or Supervisor.
  • Master understanding of clients, agents, and contract terms and conditions.
  • Understand exceptions based on dealership, agent, or client as noted in the system.
  • Support other team members in assisting customers when situations require involvement.
  • Escalate "hot issues" to team lead, supervisor, or managers when unable to resolve satisfactorily.
  • Notify Supervisor of any claims in which possible fraud is suspected.
  • Participate in all training as required to perform the duties of the role.
  • Take initiative to resolve issues rather than allowing them to continue.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three years of experience within the Automotive Service Industry required.
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to troubleshoot and service policy issues.
  • Proficient in Windows and MS-Office Products.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Superior verbal/written skills and communications skills.
  • Good punctuation, spelling, mathematical, grammar, and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills essential.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment when interacting with customers.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual with the ability to read, write, and speak both English and French in a business setting.
  • Experience in customer service, insurance claims, or call/claims center environment.
  • College degree.
