Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust, scalable, and efficient WPF applications utilizing C#.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
  • Produce code that aligns with design specifications and integrates seamlessly with existing systems.
  • Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs.
  • Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
  • Provide mentorship and support to junior developers.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends in desktop application development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in software development with a focus on C#, including legacy WPF applications.
  • Strong understanding of the .NET framework and design/architectural patterns.
  • Proven experience in software design and object-oriented design methodologies using C# and WPF.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration, test-driven development, and unit testing.
  • Experience with ASP.NET Core.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks, preferably React.
  • Middleware and microservices experience.
  • Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL Server and MongoDB.
  • Experience with web services and APIs including REST, SOAP, and GraphQL.
  • Proficient in version control systems such as Git and SVN.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Entity Framework.
  • Knowledge of data replication techniques.
  • Familiarity with peer-to-peer technologies.
