SUMMARY
The Estate Paralegal will collaborate closely with clients and attorneys within the Estate Planning and Administration Practice Group to manage Pennsylvania Estates from inception to conclusion.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Draft documents for probate and facilitate initial client consultations.
  2. Assist personal representatives in valuing, collecting, and safeguarding estate assets, including transferring titles and managing financial accounts.
  3. Prepare inheritance, estate, and income tax returns.
  4. Compile account statements upon asset distribution, detailing receipts and disbursements during estate administration.
  5. Generate necessary documents for beneficiary distributions.
  6. Maintain regular communication with clients via mail, email, and phone.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  1. At least 2 years of experience in estate administration, particularly with Pennsylvania Estates.
  2. Familiarity with ONESOURCE Trust and Estate Administration software or similar platforms.
  3. Proven experience in preparing probate documents, tax filings, and financial accounts.
  4. Ability to manage financial records and interpret statements from banks.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  6. Advanced skills in software applications such as Adobe Acrobat Pro, NetDocs, and other relevant web-based tools.
  7. Capability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  8. Strong organizational skills to manage a high volume of tasks in a dynamic setting.
  9. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  10. Familiarity with legal terminology relevant to estate administration.
  11. Notary Public commission preferred or willingness to obtain.
