This position entails a significant role in managing and resolving challenges associated with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) while developing protocols and programs to ensure the smooth operation of our Automotive Manufacturing facility in Savannah, GA.
In essence, the role of a Manufacturing Execution Systems Analyst II is pivotal in ensuring the effective use of MES to streamline production workflows, enhance operational efficiency, and support the overall objectives of the manufacturing organization.
As you gain expertise and experience, the responsibilities and scope of your role may evolve to include more intricate tasks and strategic decision-making responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop software solutions to facilitate shop monitoring.
2. Enhance existing MES systems through software development.
3. Install and configure hardware and software.
4. Maintain and install equipment and configurations for the MES network.
5. Create and sustain secondary software for environmental data collection and assembly repair documentation.
6. Manage procurement of hardware, software, and services for project completion.
7. Ensure the operational integrity of assigned MES systems.
8. Troubleshoot and resolve root causes of system issues.
9. Implement hardware and software enhancements for existing systems.
10. Generate innovative ideas for system improvements.
11. Produce reports for stakeholders based on data from assigned systems.
12. Develop procedures and documentation for MES operations.
13. Provide training for MES Technicians and Users.

Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
Experience:
A minimum of 5 years in the IT sector.
Skills and Attributes:
- Ability to provide 24/7 support.
- Willingness to work overtime.
Preferred Certifications:
- A+, Microsoft Certifications (MCPD, MCITP, MCTS)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent documentation capabilities
Technical Proficiencies:
- Vue 3.X, Java 17.X, Springboot 2.7.X, .Net Framework 4.8, NginX, Tomcat, ASP.NET, C#
Database and Operating Systems:
- Maria DB, Tibero, Oracle 11g, SQL Server
- Application Servers (Windows and Linux), RHEL 9.X, RedHat, Debian, Amazon Linux, Rocky Linux, Ubuntu.
- Intermediate skills in C#, HTML5, and WinForms coding.
- Proficient in writing PL/SQL statements for Oracle and SQL databases.
- Familiarity with coding/debugging GMES Applications.
- Basic knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems.
- Intermediate understanding of business processes related to MES.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes reporting is a plus.
Certifications:
Any MES-related certifications are advantageous.
Salary Range:
$65,950 to $93,000+ per year.
