Job Title: MES System Analyst

We are seeking a skilled MES System Analyst to join our dynamic IT team at Hyundai AutoEver America. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining MES solutions within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop software for monitoring shops to provide real-time insights into manufacturing processes.
  • Develop software to work with current MES systems to add or enhance functionality.
  • Install hardware and software components required for MES solutions.
  • Maintain and install equipment and configurations for the MES network.
  • Develop and maintain secondary software for environmental data gathering and assembly repair reports.
  • Perform purchasing duties for hardware, software, and services to complete tasks/projects.
  • Maintain assigned systems within MES.
  • Ensure systems are running smoothly.
  • Troubleshoot root causes of system issues.
  • Install hardware and software for enhancements to existing systems.
  • Generate ideas for system improvement.
  • Run reports for customers for data in assigned systems.
  • Create procedures and documentation for the MES.
  • Train MES Technicians and Users.
  • Communicate with Clients to meet the organization's needs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3-7+ years' experience in the IT field, preferably in the Automotive/Manufacturing Industry.
  • Ability to support 24 X 5/6.
  • Ability to work overtime.
  • Certifications Preferred: A+, Microsoft Certifications (MCPD, MCITP, MCTS).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent Analytical Skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Good documentation skills.
  • Software: C++, ASP.NET, C#.
  • Database/OS: Oracle Application Server (Windows and Linux), ORACLE 11g, SQL server knowledge.
  • Intermediate proficiency programming in C#, ASP.net, HTML5 and Win forms.
  • Intermediate proficiency in performing coding utilizing C#, ASP.net, HTML5, and WinForms.
  • Intermediate proficiency in writing PL/SQL statements for Oracle and SQL DB.
  • Intermediate proficiency in coding/debugging GMES Applications.
  • Intermediate Analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Basic knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logical Controller).
  • Intermediate knowledge of business processes related to MES.
  • Primary SME (Subject Matter Expert) to the assigned shop.
Physical Requirements:
  • Desk Work: Much of the work as an MES System Analyst involves desk-based activities, such as working on a computer, analyzing data, and communicating with team members.
  • Extended Computer Use: You should be comfortable working on a computer for extended periods.
  • Mobility: While the role is primarily office-based, occasional mobility within the workplace might be required.
  • Visual and Auditory Abilities: Strong visual and auditory abilities are essential for reading documents, analyzing data on computer screens, and participating in discussions and meetings.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for interacting with team members, stakeholders, and end users.
  • Attention to Detail: Paying close attention to details is crucial for accurately configuring and maintaining the MES system, analyzing data, and identifying trends.
  • Problem-Solving: As an MES System Analyst, you'll be required to troubleshoot technical issues and problem-solve.
Tools & Equipment usage:
  • The employee must be able to: Use a telephone, computer, keyboard, printer, copy machine, fax machine, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Unpack, Carry, and Install equipment when necessary.
Salary Range:

$60,000 to $108,500 per year (base salary - depending on qualifications).
