Key Responsibilities- Conduct Analytical Testing: Execute a range of stability tests on finished products to ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
- Operate Laboratory Equipment: Utilize advanced testing instruments including HPLC, spectrophotometers, pH meters, and balances to perform analyses.
- Implement Quality Control Standards: Carry out laboratory tests in line with established methods and regulations, ensuring quality control specifications are met.
- Instrument Setup and Testing: Prepare instruments for testing, conduct sample analyses, and interpret results, compiling reports for management review.
- Process Control Testing: Perform and document standard laboratory tests, notifying relevant personnel of any critical findings or significant changes.
- Equipment Maintenance: Troubleshoot and maintain laboratory instruments, ensuring cleanliness and functionality to guarantee accurate results.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on quality control findings and laboratory results, providing qualitative and quantitative data to management.
- Mathematical Calculations: Execute necessary calculations related to chemistry testing.
- Collaborative Work: Engage effectively with team members to foster a cooperative work environment.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a closely related discipline.
- 0-2 years of relevant laboratory experience, particularly with HPLC, UV-IR Spectrometry, and Gas Chromatography.
- Proficient in technical record-keeping.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness in work execution.
- Ability to operate and maintain laboratory equipment effectively.
- Commitment to observing health and safety regulations.
