Job Summary

We are looking for a highly qualified OB/GYN Physician to provide comprehensive care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in obstetrics and gynecology, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat diseases of the genitourinary system and reproductive system
  • Provide routine and complicated antenatal care
  • Perform vaginal deliveries and cesarean-sections
  • Conduct routine pelvic exams and evaluate abnormal pap smears
  • Perform routine GYN surgery, including abdominal and vaginal hysterectomy and operative laparoscopic treatment
  • Order and interpret laboratory tests, radiographs, and other data necessary to complete patient evaluations
  • Participate in peer review and perform ICD-9 coding for all evaluations and services rendered
  • Provide preoperative consultations and perioperative management
  • Administer and prescribe special medications as needed
  • Provide technical direction, assistance, and training to technicians as assigned
  • Complete all necessary outpatient record entries and admission and discharge paperwork
Requirements
  • Doctorate degree from an accredited college approved by the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association or Doctor of Osteopathy from a college accredited by the American Osteopathic Association
  • Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • At least two years' experience in Obstetrics & Gynecology after residency, or one year's experience on a civilian or military hospital staff within the last six years
  • Board Certification by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology or American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOOG)
  • Unrestricted license in one of the 50 States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands
