Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HVAC/R Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team at Walmart. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our HVAC/R systems, performing routine maintenance and repairs, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC/R equipment, including refrigerant handling and system troubleshooting
  • Assist in controlling company costs by conducting price comparisons of refrigerants, parts, and travel-related costs
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration and Environmental Protection Agency regulations and guidelines
  • Collaborate with management, coworkers, and customers to achieve objectives and resolve issues
  • Develop and implement business solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Requirements
  • Type I and Type II Environmental Protection Agency certification for refrigerant handling
  • HVAC/R Certificate of Completion through Live Better U and Penn Foster Career School
  • Preferred qualifications: mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls
