As a Structural Engineering Graduate - Designer 1, you'll work closely with a team of experienced engineers and consultants to provide engineering solutions and advice to clients, ensuring positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the design and analysis of structural systems using various building materials, utilizing engineering software and tools to create detailed designs, specifications, and calculations according to code requirements and IMEG standards.
  • Interact with clients to understand their needs, gather project requirements, and communicate technical information effectively, building and maintaining client relationships through professional communication.
  • Work as part of a project team to support the execution of consulting projects, assisting in project planning and scheduling tasks to meet project deadlines and objectives.
  • Analyze low to medium complexity engineering tasks and propose innovative solutions, collaborating with senior engineers and consultants to develop practical and efficient solutions.
  • Participate in IMEG quality control processes to ensure that engineering designs and solutions meet IMEG quality standards, industry standards, and client requirements.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in structural engineering, contributing to research, development, and innovation efforts within IMEG.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering, or equivalent, required.
  • Master's Degree (MS) in Structural Engineering preferred.
  • Prior internship experience in the building design consulting industry preferred.
  • Engineering in Training (EIT) License preferred.
