Job Summary

Manatee Memorial Hospital is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team. As a Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for performing mammography procedures and routine radiographs with minimal supervision.

About the Role

This is a PRN (as-needed) position, working days only. You will be part of a dynamic team that provides high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform mammography procedures and routine radiographs with minimal supervision
  • Apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis
  • Assist clerical staff with record maintenance and patient scheduling
  • Demonstrate Service Excellence at all times

Qualifications

  • Satisfactory completion of formal radiological training in an AMA-approved school
  • Registered by and in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and the Florida Bureau of Radiation Control
  • CPR certified
  • Certified in mammography or exam eligible
