Job Summary

John Knox Manor Inc is seeking a skilled Cleaning Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our common areas, apartments, and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Perform general cleaning and sanitizing tasks throughout the assigned property, including cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms, kitchen, and dining areas, washing dishes, utensils, glasses, pots, and pans, wiping and dusting surfaces, vacuuming and cleaning floors, rugs, furniture, and drapes.
  • Trash and Recycling: Pick up and empty trash containers, and notify maintenance if something is not working correctly.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Skills and Abilities: Detail-oriented, confidential, and professional; ability to read, write, and speak English; must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds at times; must be able to stand for long periods of time and reach, bend, lift, and pull.
