Employment Type: Full Time, 0.8, 64.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Work Schedule: Days

Compensation: $50.30 per hour, commensurate with relevant experience.

Qualifications:
  • Completion of an accredited nursing program: Diploma, ADN, BSN, or MSN.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Certification as a Certified Ambulatory Perianesthesia Nurse (CAPA) from the American Board of Perianesthesia Nursing Certification (ABPANC) within 18 months of employment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
  • ACLS and PALS certifications are required within 6 months of employment.
  • Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established nursing and medical protocols, ensuring adherence to population-specific guidelines.
  • Monitor and respond to patient complications related to surgical and anesthetic procedures.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide education on anesthesia-related care, including potential complications and post-operative instructions.
  • Follow established protocols for patient care, safety, and medication administration, documenting all care in accordance with guidelines.
  • Utilize critical thinking and sound judgment to operate effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting with minimal supervision.
