About the Opportunity

Atrium Health Charlotte is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated nurse leader to make a meaningful impact on patient care and outcomes.

As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical guidance and support to our nursing staff, promoting evidence-based practice and improving patient safety. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping us achieve our goal of delivering exceptional patient care and advancing the field of nursing.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff on assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with complex medical conditions.
  • Develop and implement educational programs to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Conduct quality improvement initiatives to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for change.
  • Mentor and precept new nurses to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
  • Current RN license in the state of North Carolina required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a registered nurse, preferably in a critical care setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
Salary Range

$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
