Job Title: Family Child Care Instructional Coach

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Family Child Care Instructional Coach to join our team at Children's Council of SF. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting family childcare educators in continuously improving the quality of their programs and creating the best experiences for children.

Key Responsibilities:
The Instructional Coach will work collaboratively with our FCC Incubator team and partner agency coaches to build the capacity of FCC educators in developing specific skills and implementing practices that lead to positive outcomes for children in their care. Key responsibilities include facilitating training and small group cohorts, providing coaching and modeling, encouraging and supporting FCC educators to develop goals for program improvement, and designing curriculum, training, and resources based on educator needs.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Social Sciences, or a related field. They will also have knowledge and experience with Family Child Care programs and supports, proficiency with childcare assessment tools, and specialization/certification in Developmental Assessment, Curriculum Development, or related fields. The successful candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products, comfortable with using technology to improve interactions with clients, and have project management skills.
