Job Summary:

The Sales Support Associate role is a vital part of the store's overall success and efficiency, requiring direct attention to our brand commitment when servicing our customers. This position demands a high level of customer service, ensuring a positive experience for every customer who interacts with our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cash Wrap:
    • Greet customers with a smile and offer assistance.
    • Interact genuinely and naturally with customers, reading cues to determine their needs.
    • Conduct email/name capture, where permitted by law, and maintain accuracy when operating POS.
    • Maintain cash wrap organization and cleanliness, suggesting multiple add-ons and selling gift cards.
    • Represent Coach brand appropriately.
  • WAREHOUSE:
    • Receive shipment and transfers, notifying Store Management when new product arrives.
    • Scan cartons/transfers, verifying store information is correct, and communicate discrepancies to Store Management.
    • Process shipment/transfers according to Coach standards and timeframes, organizing and cleaning the stock room daily.
    • Shift/organize product in the stockroom, reacting to sell through and making room for new product.
    • Manage stock levels/product ownership in back-of-house and sales floor, preparing and conducting regular cycle counts as directed.
    • Participate in store physical inventory counts, as scheduled, maintaining Company Loss Prevention standards.
  • SALES FLOOR:
    • Analyze sales floor to assess replenishment needs, replenishing sales floor/assigned zone and reacting to sell through.
    • Execute visual merchandising needs, supporting sales floor activities as directed.
    • Effectively communicate information pertaining to price points, features/benefits, color, and stock availability to multiple customers.
    • Respond to customer requests confidently, partnering with sales team or Store Management when needed.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of previous retail experience, preferably in a luxury retail service environment.
  • Possesses current knowledge of fashion trends and competition in the marketplace.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of cash register systems, basic computer skills, and ability to use iPad/laptop, Mobile POS, and Internet.
  • Ability to execute at a fast pace, communicate effectively with customers and team, and maneuver the sales floor, sales shelves, and stock room.
  • Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and, at times, lift and carry product/cartons up to 50 pounds to process product shipment/transfers.

Schedule:

Ability to meet Coach Scheduling & Availability Expectations, including ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, high retail traffic and sales days.
