Nursing Lead and Team Manager

We are seeking an experienced Charge Nurse to join our team as a Nursing Lead and Team Manager. In this role, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality healthcare services in an assigned program unit, ensuring that individuals receive the care they need to thrive.

Your expertise in assessment, coordination, and communication will be essential in managing a team of medical case managers and counselors. You will also be responsible for conducting health-related trainings and evaluating the effectiveness of preventive/ongoing healthcare services.

The salary for this position is estimated at $48.72-$55.64 per hour, based on location and qualifications. If you are a dynamic and results-driven nursing professional looking to take on new challenges, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Coordinates routine and specialty healthcare services to address assessed needs of individuals receiving services.
  2. Evaluates the effectiveness of preventive/ongoing healthcare services and makes recommendations/referrals for alternative care when necessary.
  3. Conducts health-related trainings for individuals receiving services, direct care staff, and other team members as needed.

Requirements:
  • NYS Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • Prior nursing experience and/or experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel to multiple locations throughout the metropolitan area
  • Able to work flexible hours and/or days
