The Hospitalist Coordinator is a key member of the Prime Healthcare team, responsible for supporting the daily operations of the hospitalist program. This role requires a high level of organization, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure the efficient delivery of hospitalist services.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage hospitalist physician schedules, including last-minute changes and emergency coverages.
- Facilitate communication between hospitalists, nursing staff, administration, and other departments.
- Assist with the scheduling of trainings or meetings for the hospitalist staff.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of hospitalist services.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a hospital or another medical environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of two years' administrative experience.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
